About Me

I believe everyone deserves a safe space to work on their healing and to feel like they belong.

Marriage and Family Therapist

Laura Hutter, LCMFT

My goal as your therapist is to provide you with a safe and nonjudgmental space so that I can help you work toward your therapy goals.

I am a mixed-race military spouse with a 6-year history of working in community mental health, during which I served clients from 5 years of age to 60+ who struggled with severe and persistent mental health symptoms.

Now that I am in my own practice, I see adults aged 18 years and older. I specialize in trauma treatment (I am trained in EMDR) and couples work. I work particularly well with college students, military families, and people with marginalized identities. I also treat mood disorders, such as anxiety and depression.

During therapy sessions, I am collaborative and strive to make therapy a safe and nonjudgmental environment. I have a client-centered stance and will work with you to create a treatment plan that is catered to your specific needs.
